Two Flower Girls

Again from Shareen & James' wedding. Here are two flower girls who would lead Shareen to the church alter that morning. Inquisitive of what the noise was about, here they are stealing a peak.

In order not to trip anyone over, they were asked to sit down properly on the chair, and always looking at the camera, I thought I'd just grab a couple of photos of 2 very willing and cute models!

Oops, caught on candid camera! A nice little moment of innocence and laughter. Priceless!

I'm watching you!

Happy New Year 2010 to everyone!

Thank you for taking some time to stop by my blog.

As I do not have much time to blog, I figured that I'd change my style a bit this year. I am going to try at least 1 image a day. That way, i get 365 images on my blog by the end of the year. Ok, I'm dreaming, but at least I'm gonna try anyway. To start one off, here are a couple from Shareen & James's wedding. This time, one of each of them!

James eating up the freshly chopped bittergourd and he seemed to like it. Now you know why he is doing so, with that uncle standing behind watching him eat up...

Here is Shareen, an ex-classmate of mine from Standard 6! Yes, that long ago! She seems very happy with her make up thanks to Ms. Tiffanie Hong! If you require her services, do not hesitate to contact me for more info!

In the mean time, i hope to provide more updates soon!

Innocent Eyes

As a photographer, you see thousands of image which just goes past you. Once in a while, you come past one image which you just can't seem to forget. Sometimes, it's the most simple shot, and it's something anyone could do, but when you get the right mood, feeling and light in that image, it just keeps knocking in your head.

Thus comes to the photo above which I had shot from Shareen's wedding. I couldn't wait to see it on the big screen, and after looking at it in my camera's puny 3" screen, it just didn't seem to do justice to it. And even after looking at it from my 14.1" laptop monitor, it still isn't satisfying. But seeing it on something larger just has to wait. But wait I cannot to share this image which I think is something different from the usual laughter you get from pictures of kids.

Interpret it as you like, and tell me what you feel.

Feliz Natal!

Now you know how to say Merry Christmas in Portugese!

To all Christians who are reading this, I wish you had a wonderful year and may you have an even better year ahead!

To all my esteemed clients, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. We appreciate your trust in us and hope that you have been happy with our service and product. We hope you have a great time with your family and friends during this very festive 4 working days a week time of the year.

And to all my friends, A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, you guys have been awesome, for without your support, I would not be who I am. Thank You.

Of course,  not forgetting the most important people to me and the people I love. Thank you for being there for me and giving your moral support when times were rough during the never ending hours of work that I had to endure. For without loving and supportive family members and a wonderful girlfriend, I would not know Love, for which Love is the driver of Wedding Photography, as to capture Love, you have to know it, feel it and be able to tell a story about it.

And finally, GOD, for blessing me with the strength and will to persevere, dream, belief and also for the people who have come my way.

"For God so loved the world he gave us his only son..." John 3:16

Terence & Eileen (Wei Ling)

I had the honour to attend as a guest at an old friend's wedding, Eileen or perhaps better known as Wei Ling from our schooling days. This was her wedding banquet with Terence, a guy whom she had met from uni days at Curtin.  I had just finished a shoot with another couple and rushed over to this banquet so I had all my gear hot off the previous shoot. Here are some of the few pix which I had shot during the banquet. I just couldn't resist shooting when it's such a classy looking place! It was Grand Dorsett formerly Sheraton Subang's Grand Ballroom. What do you think?

The 6 Million Dollar Night

Building a church isn't easy. First you have the issue of approval and after approval, you have the issue of money. While the latter is the easier of the two, it certainly takes a lot of courage to declare a night as the Six Million Dollar Night. Organized by the Catholic churches of St Francis of Assisi in Cheras and St Thomas More in Subang Jaya, it was a night where money was not splashed foolishly but in the benefit of charity, love and to build a building not for ourselves but for those future generations as well. See more photos from the night where the Idea of North, an acapella quartet was the highlight of the concert cum dinner.
